What’s Happening In Alberta in July

We can’t possibly list every event, festival, exhibition, rodeo, fair, show and sports events happening in Alberta in July.  But we’ve tried to capture the highlights across the province for the upcoming month.

Canada Day Celebrations (July 1)

Every city, town, village and hamlet will hold events marking our national day.  Check with your local council or tourist bureau for events local to you.  Or pick an interesting spot on the provincial map and check out what is happening nearby. 

Heritage Park’s 60th Birthday Celebration (Calgary): Enjoy parades, concerts, family activities, and birthday cake.

Canada Day Artisan Fair (Jasper): Features Western Canadian artists and artisans.

Indigenous Heritage Celebration 2024 (Crowsnest Pass): Arts & Crafts Market with local and regional artists.

Canada Day at Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site: Cultural performances, live music, and food vendors.

Canada Day Festivities (Wainwright): Free family activities, concerts, beer gardens, and fireworks.

Canada Day at Edmonton International Raceway (Wetaskiwin): Car show, stock car racing, outdoor karaoke, kids’ games, and fireworks.

Calgary Folk Music Festival (Calgary) (July 25-28): A diverse lineup of 70 acts from around the world.
