The Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) first started in Edmonton in 1974 at the Edmonton Gardens. It was such a popular event that it moved to the Northlands Coliseum the following year. The CFR was held in Edmonton until 2017 when it moved to Red Deer and now coming back to Edmonton for the fiftieth anniversary! Thrilling rodeo events, expansive trade show exhibits, dynamic stage shows, a Western Art Show, and a variety of interactive experiences in one monumental celebration.
